About Us

The Rivertown Quilters Guild  is a 501(c)(3) organized community quilting group based currently in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

It was established in Aurora, Indiana in September 2004, by a group of quilters looking for fellowship through a mutual interest in quilting.

We wanted to preserve the heritage of quilting and promote excellence in the quilting arts.

We also wanted to provide outreach to those in need with needle and thread.

We still have members that were the original charter members.

The Rivertown Quilters Guild meets once a month at 6:30 PM on the 3rd Wednesday at the Tanner Valley United Methodist Church near Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Monthly meetings consist of a business meeting and short program that might include a speaker, group project or social event.

Following the program, members show their creations in a Show & Tell segment. This is truly the highlight of the meeting as we see all the talent in our group.
